Fit + Fold Your Hedkayse One

How To Fit

1. Rear Strap

(a) Before placing the helmet on your head, ensure the rear 'whale tail' piece is enclosed by the two side pieces, and the rear 'hook-and-loop' strap is threaded through the second black plastic 'k-clip'.

(b) Tighten the rear 'hook-and-loop' strap until the helmet feels snug but not constricting. Make sure the strap is securely fastened to itself.

(c) Ensure the rear ‘X-piece’ is centred at the base of the helmet.

2. Side Buckles

(a) When adjusted, the side buckle should sit below your ear but above the jawline, with the two webbing straps forming a ‘T’ as shown.

3. Chin Strap

(a) The helmet should sit 1-2 centimetres above your eyebrows - not so far forwards that it obscures your vision, and not too far backward that it exposes any more of your forehead.

(b) You should not be able to get more than one finger between your chin and the strap.

How To Fold

Rear Strap

Un-thread the rear 'hook-and-loop' strap from the the second black plastic 'k-clip'.

Whale Tail

Move the sides of the helmet apart to allow the tail part of the helmet to pull out.

Squidge and Store

The helmet can now be compressed lengthways for storage or transportation.
