Production update 13th May - From the factory

by George Fox May 13, 2018 5 Comments

  • We are working hard and around the clock
  • We are now working in the factory where your helmets will be made
  • We have had to make an adjustment to one of the key machines we will be using (ultrasonic welding) it now works brilliantly
  • We are working to avoid this affecting timelines and will still be proceeding with production handover at the factory.

Hi Allen,

Thank you for your comment on the tees! We have them for all our smart events!

We’ll get the helmets sorted first without other distractions, then see what we can do with some funky tees!

Thanks again for your patience and support!

Very best regards,
George at Hedkayse

Much rather you get it right even if it delays things. Ultrasonic welding is not as easy as it sounds.

Thanks for the update. Looks like I can see my Headkayse at the end of the tunnel. Woohoo

Thanks for the update Mate! Are you sporting a “HeadKayse” T-shirt? Will those be available as well with the helmets?

Easter Eggs vs The Post
Easter Eggs vs The Post

by Iain O'Brien April 24, 2019

We love our Posties. We trust them with some expensive stuff. Expensive and fragile stuff.

But we don’t trust them that much, do we?

We wrap anything, and everything, before we put it on the scales, take a sharp intake at how much it’ll cost to insure and post, and hand it over the counter – and then hope it gets to where it’s supposed to.

Shouldn’t we treat our heads, at least, like we treat our post?

Box and bubble wrap for your post, Hedkayse cycle helmets for your head.

Early on-set Cat Dementia

by Iain O'Brien April 01, 2019 2 Comments

Feline cognitive abilities start to decline at around 11 - 12 years of age. Feline senile dementia typically occurs after a cat reaches 15 years old. But current studies have seen cognitive abilities decrease, in line with a dementia diagnosis, in cats as young as six.
